A PERSONAL MESSAGE
FROM MARILYN STARK
THANK YOU, DISTRICT 100! What an honor to serve you as your State Representative in the 57th Legislature. I have learned so very much in the last 18 months. There is still much to learn. I would be honored to serve you for another two years! I'm asking for your support financially, through signs, prayer, or volunteering and of course by your vote.
I am a pro-life, Christian, Republican, who is concerned by what I see and hear in the world around me and in the political arena specifically. Being challenged by Franklin Graham on our state Capitol lawn in 2016 to get more involved, I had no idea this was the path I would be on just a few years later. It has been a tale of two years for sure! The first year was very upbeat and positive. We experienced record legislation, great budgets and a great working relationship throughout the Capitol. This year we are in the midst of pandemic; oil prices have bottomed out and the budget was tough. I believe we have worked together well in the House to be transparent and forthright with our actions.
I understand that education is key to many of the issues plaguing Oklahoma. I am also keenly aware of the need for reform in mental health, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and our prison system. I understand the need for multiple revenue streams, cutting costs, and balanced budgets. There is a place for government involvement but not for over-reach. I believe we are making progress in these areas but there is still much to be done.
I have always been and remain committed to helping individuals. This intense dedication, passion and devotion fuels my fight for change. I believe my experience equips me to be a part of the solution. Oklahoma has great people who deserve the best we can give.
While I still don't see any easy answers, I do sense a desire from my fellow Representatives to work harder at communicating across the aisle, across the chamber, and across the street to find those answers and build a stronger Oklahoma.
Accountability, transparency, and communication are key! We all have to step up and be part of the solution. Together we can be better! Thank you again for your support and ongoing prayers as we face the challenges that lie ahead. I humbly ask for your vote June 30th!
God is bigger!

MARILYN ON THE ISSUES
A Stronger, Better Oklahoma
Every life has value. The most vulnerable must be protected. I'll always defend and represent our pro-life values.
Excellent public education is essential to a stronger, better Oklahoma. We have to fund education and stand up for our teachers. We need to take a fresh look at our state expenses and funding mechanisms.
I believe transparency, accountability, and communication are the keys to a stronger, better Oklahoma. I'll work to increase all three areas in our state legislature.
